A young woman sits quietly at a small desk near a sun draped window. She has scribed a letter to send to her distant lover on Valentine’s Day. She carefully removes the satin pink ribbon from her hair and secures the letter with a bow, then delicately places the letter into an envelope that she’s decorated with roses, hearts and romantic sentiments. She seals the flap with a dab of wax and a kiss. Her head tilts to one side, her eyes distant and dreamy, as the sun casts light upon her tight brown curls, she longs for the moment when she will once again be in the arms of her lover.
